A series of banners were designed for the atrium spaces. They were used to serve two purposes; on the one hand they provided an acoustic solution, and on the other, they were a creative opportunity to engage with students to develop large artworks. There are 9 banners in total ranging in size from H3m x 5.5m to the largest 'T' shaped banner which is H7m x 12m. Students worked with the artists to scan, photograph and pose in order to generate the source material which was then composited in Photoshop. The banners depict themes of 'technology' and the 'student'.
